- Cold plunge pool users need to be 18 years and over.
- Maximum of four users at once please.
Cold plunge recommended usage
Cold water immersion is used between training sessions, following a heavy weights session or during the acute phases of muscle injury, soreness or bruising. Contrast water therapy spa/plunge is ideally used at the end of a training day.
Do not use if you have damaged muscles, a very recent injury or bruising. Shower before use, then do one minute in the spa, one minute in the cold plunge pool (trying to relax as much as possible). Try to build up to a total of 5-10 minutes in the plunge pool, aiming to relax your muscles as much as possible. Repeat three to five times, rehydrate throughout and after, and always finish in the cold.
