Summer fun in 2010

Join the summer fun at Splash Palace. Activities have been organised for the following days (two hourly sessions each day):

      January 5 to January 8                 January 11 to January 15
      January 18 to January 23              January 25 to January 29

What can you do? Well, there'll be trasure hunts, aquathons, torpedo toppling, wipe outs, big bombs, duck races - and the ever-popular hose the lifeguard! Note that the times will be from 11am to noon and from 2pm to 3pm.

Summer Swim School details

Details for the Summer Swim Schools at Splash Palace and at the Bluff Swimming Pool are now available: Summer Swim School 2010. The courses of five 30-minute lessons cost $40 - and if you book by November 27 you will be entered in a prize draw. Splash Palace Swim School is a registered Swim NZ Quality Swim School with fully trained and experienced teachers. Don’t miss out: to book email:  swimschool@splashpalace.co.nz  or phone 217 7506 or 217 3838.

Main pool, swirl pool, steam room
Monday to Friday 6am to 9pm
Saturday 6am to 8pm
Sunday 8am to 8pm
Public holidays 1pm to 7pm (closed Christmas Day)

Leisure pool

Monday to Friday 8am to 9pm
Saturday, Sunday 8am to 8pm
Public holidays 1pm to 7pm

The waves, sprays and waterslide

Monday to Friday 3.30pm to 5pm and 7.30pm to 9pm
Saturday and Sunday: 11am to 4.30pm and 6.30pm to 8pm

Learners pool

Weekends and school holidays 1pm to 4pm

January
Jan 5-29: Check out our School Holiday Programme with organised games.

Jan 17-24: 
NZ Synchro Team Training Camp. Deep end of main pool closed from 8am – 11am.

Jan 29 - 31: 
Southland Swimming Champs. Friday, Jan 29: Main pool closed 4.30pm – 9pm. Saturday, Jan 30: Main pool closed 8am – 12pm and 4.30pm – 8pm. Sunday, Jan 31: Main pool closed 8.30am – 12pm and 3.30pm – 8pm. No hydroslide during these times.

February
Feb 6, Waitangi Day: Pool open 1pm – 7pm.


Feb 13: Swim Southland meet. Main pool closed 4.30pm – 8pm.


Feb 21: Kids' Triathlon. Main pool closed 9am – 11am.

Feb 27 - 28: South Island Town v Country. Saturday: Deep end of main pool closed 7.45am – 12pm and  2.30pm – 8pm. Sunday: Deep end of main pool closed 8am – 12pm. Very limited lane swimming and aqua jogging space during these session. No hydroslide and the Learners' pool will be closed.
